Earlier today, Rt. Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna Ijn, Member Representing Bassa/Dekina Federal Constituency, has paid a compassionate visit to displaced persons affected by the recent crisis in Ogane-Nigu, Ochipu and other communities across Bassa and Dekina.

During his visit to various camps located in Etutekpe, Odu Okpakili, and Dekina Town where the displaced persons reside, the lawmaker distributed relief materials, food items and donated a huge amount of money to cushion the hardship faced by the victims. His gesture brought hope and relief to many families who have been displaced from their homes.

Rt. Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna Ijn assured the affected communities of his unwavering commitment to their safety and well-being. He emphasized his ongoing collaboration with the State and Local Government authorities to strengthen security measures, restore peace, and ensure that normalcy returns to the affected areas.
