Police Rescue Four Abducted Passengers on Kogi Highway, Search Ongoing for Three Others

The Kogi State Police Command says its operatives have rescued four passengers who were abducted along the Anyigba–Ankpa highway in the state.

According to the police, the victims were rescued following a report received by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Egume at about 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. The distress call alerted the police to the presence of two vehicles abandoned on the highway.

Upon receiving the report, police operatives were deployed to the area, leading to the rescue of the four abducted passengers. The command confirmed that efforts are ongoing to locate three other victims believed to have been taken by the abductors.
