Hon. Enebi Martins, an indigene of Akpacha community in Akpacha Ward, was described by the group as a respected politician and activist with extensive networks across Kogi State and strong links to national stakeholders.

According to OUF, the growing need for purposeful representation at the Kogi State House of Assembly informed the group’s decision to publicly urge Hon. Martins to step forward and offer himself for service.

In a detailed statement issued on behalf of the group, Comrade Emmanuel Solomon said:

“The Omala Unity Frontiers (OUF) is a grassroots movement representing the collective voice of the sons and daughters of Omala Local Government Area. Today, we formally, publicly, unequivocally, and collectively call on Hon. Enebi Martins, our illustrious brother from Akpacha community in Akpacha Ward, to contest for the position of Member, Kogi State House of Assembly, to represent Omala State Constituency.

We are aware that Hon. Enebi Martins is a widely respected politician and activist with an extensive network across Kogi State. He has a proven ability to bridge relationships between local, state, and national stakeholders and governments. His influence spans beyond Omala, touching every corner of Kogi State and reaching into the corridors of power at all levels.

As National President of Omala Unity Frontiers, I wish to state that in our call for Hon. Enebi Martins to contest, we are not just seeking a representative but a leader who understands our challenges, speaks our language, prefers unity over the manipulation of sentiments and chauvinistic disposition, and has the connections and credibility to deliver real change. We are convinced that Hon. Enebi Martins fits this description perfectly.

The call comes amid the growing need for a House of Assembly member who can relate effectively with the local government, the Kogi State Government, and the Federal Government towards building collaboration for optimum development.

We invite every son and daughter of Omala, whether living in Omala Local Government Area, across Kogi State, or elsewhere, to join us in persuading Hon. Enebi Martins to accept this noble mission. This call is not just a political campaign but a people’s movement for non-divisive and non-controversial representation — a movement for unity and progress.

We are calling on Hon. Enebi Martins to answer the call of his people, to step forward, contest, and lead Omala into a new era of true and quality representation.”

The group disclosed that it has already commenced mobilization efforts through petitions, town hall engagements, and social media advocacy to build support for the initiative.

OUF also appealed to traditional rulers, religious leaders, youth groups, women’s organizations, and civil society stakeholders to rally behind the call in the interest of unity and development.

The Omala Unity Frontiers reiterated its commitment to non-partisan engagement, equitable development, good governance, and effective collaboration in advancing the collective interests of the people of Omala Local Government Area.
