Ododo Scheduled To Visit Ayano, Onyedega Amid APC Mobilisation In Ibaji

The Kogi State Government has announced that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo will visit Ayano and Onyedega communities in Ibaji Local Government Area as part of ongoing grassroots engagements across the state.
According to an official mobilisation notice issued ahead of the visit, Governor Ododo is expected to arrive in Ayano by 9:00 a.m. before proceeding to Onyedega for further engagements with party stakeholders and residents.
APC Leaders, Appointees Directed To Mobilise
The notice directed all political appointees at both state and local government levels, elected officials, and party executives to be present in Onyedega by 10:00 a.m. prompt.
The mobilisation message described the governor’s visit as part of efforts to strengthen peace, governance, and grassroots participation within Ibaji Local Government Area.
“This is not just an official call — it is a moment of unity, solidarity, and renewed hope dedicated to the progress of Ibaji Local Government and Kogi State,” the statement read.
Focus On Grassroots Engagement
The notice further stated that the governor’s presence would provide an opportunity for closer interaction between the state leadership and local communities.
Party faithful and stakeholders were urged to ensure full participation and punctuality during the visit.
The mobilisation directive was reportedly issued on the instruction of the APC Chairman in Ibaji Local Government Area, Hon. ThankGod Omale.

The Bureau News reports that political activities and consultations have continued to intensify across Kogi State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
