NYCGG Commends Tinubu for Reappointing NSCDC Commandant General

The National Youth Collation for Good Governance (NYCGG) has expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for reappointing Professor Abubakar Ahmed Audi as the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for another term.

In a statement issued under the leadership of Comrade Ahmeh, the group described the president’s decision as a demonstration of his commitment to merit, continuity, and institutional stability. According to the NYCGG, the reappointment reflects confidence in Prof. Audi’s leadership and performance.

The organization noted that under Prof. Audi’s tenure, the NSCDC has recorded progress in strengthening security operations, curbing vandalism, and safeguarding critical national infrastructure. It added that his leadership has contributed to ongoing reforms aimed at enhancing the agency’s operational effectiveness.
