Federal Fire Service Congratulates Prof. Audi on Reappointment as NSCDC Commandant General

The Federal Fire Service has extended warm congratulations to Abubakar Ahmed Audi, OFR, MNI, following his reappointment as the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for another five-year term.

In a statement issued by the Controller General of the Federal Fire Service, Samuel Adeyemi Olumode, MNI, the Service described Prof. Audi’s reappointment as a well-deserved recognition of his outstanding leadership and transformative impact on the NSCDC.

According to the statement, Prof. Audi has demonstrated exceptional dedication, strategic vision, and professionalism in repositioning the Corps as a formidable and world-class security agency. Under his leadership, the NSCDC has strengthened its mandate of protecting Nigeria’s critical national assets and infrastructure, enhancing community safety initiatives, and reinforcing public security nationwide.

The Federal Fire Service noted that the renewed mandate reflects confidence in Prof. Audi’s capacity to sustain reforms, deepen institutional growth, and further consolidate the Corps’ achievements in safeguarding lives and property.

The Service also reaffirmed its commitment to continued collaboration and operational synergy with the NSCDC, emphasizing the importance of inter-agency cooperation in advancing emergency management, capacity building, and national security.

The Controller General expressed optimism that Prof. Audi’s new tenure would usher in greater milestones and further strengthen Nigeria’s security architecture.
