The Federal Government has emphasized the importance of supporting the Dangote Refinery, with Vice President Shettima stating that “Nigeria is greater than PENGASSAN.” This declaration followed industrial action by oil workers under PENGASSAN. The government views the $20 billion facility as a national asset that must be protected.

The Federal Government, including Vice President Shettima and Minister of Budget and National Planning Senator Bagudu, has stressed the critical importance of the Dangote Refinery for Nigeria. They view the refinery as a national asset that must be supported to ensure its success.

Vice President Kashim Shettima declared that “Nigeria is greater than PENGASSAN,” emphasizing the need for patriotism and caution from both labor and the private sector. He also highlighted Aliko Dangote’s commitment to investing in Nigeria.

It will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, financiers, development partners, and entrepreneurs to explore strategies for revitalizing Nigeria’s industrial base. The summit serves as a platform for public-private dialogue on economic management and development policy.
