In a video shared by his media aide, Wike labeled the rumors as false and politically motivated, mocking those spreading the speculation.
Wike commented, “I hear they have heart attack. God will continue to help them to have heart attack,” emphasizing his unshaken demeanor. He further taunted his critics, suggesting he would be ready to sign condolence letters for them when their hopes for his downfall backfire.
He condemned the politicization of such false reports and questioned how such unfounded claims could circulate. “See the level we are. We play politics with everything,” he stated, expressing frustration over the origin of the rumors.
His response has effectively put the speculation to rest, reassuring his supporters of his good health.
