TikTok Star Peller Seeks Financial Help to Repair ₦11m Damaged Mercedes SUV

By Enemona Samuel Endurance | The Bureau News

Nigeria News Today: Popular TikTok streamer and content creator, Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has appealed to his fans and followers for financial assistance to repair his damaged Mercedes Benz SUV, revealing that the cost of repairs is estimated at ₦11 million.

Peller made the appeal during a recent TikTok live session, weeks after he was involved in a controversial road accident that left the luxury vehicle badly damaged and resulted in his hospitalization.

Speaking during the livestream, the influencer said he was shocked by the repair estimate and admitted that financial constraints have prevented him from fixing the vehicle.

“They told me fixing my car would cost ₦11 million. I haven’t fixed it because the money is too much. I thought maybe my fans who love me can help me,” Peller said.

He explained that the high repair cost is the main reason the vehicle has remained unrepaired, adding that he only recently returned to social media after taking time off to recover emotionally from the incident.

Peller further appealed directly to viewers watching the live broadcast, urging those who are able to support him financially to do so.

“This accident affected me mentally and financially. If anyone can support me, it will go a long way. I really need help to get my car back on the road,” he added.

The accident occurred in December 2025 along the Lekki–Epe Expressway during a live broadcast, sparking widespread reactions and concern across the country.

Following the incident, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Lagos State Police Command indicated that the content creator could face prosecution for reckless and distracted driving.

Peller has since issued public apologies to Nigerians and to the family of Jarvis, expressing regret over the incident and acknowledging responsibility.

As reported by The Bureau News, reactions to Peller’s crowdfunding appeal have continued to trend on social media, with some fans expressing willingness to support him, while others questioned the decision to seek public donations for the repair of a luxury vehicle.

As of the time of filing this report, Peller has not disclosed whether he has received any significant financial contributions toward the repairs.
