NCAA Recommends Kebbi Pilgrims Welfare Agency After Hajj Camp Inspection – The Bureau News | Nigeria News Today

The Bureau News reports that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has recommended the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency for the smooth conduct of Hajj operations after inspecting facilities at the Kauran Gwandu Hajj Camp.
The inspection formed part of preparations ahead of the airlift of intending pilgrims for the annual pilgrimage to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Nigeria News Today: NCAA Inspects Kebbi Hajj Camp Facilities
During the visit, officials of the NCAA inspected several key facilities at the Kauran Gwandu Hajj Camp to assess the level of preparedness for the forthcoming Hajj exercise.
The delegation, led by Engr. Abba Shuaib Babagana, carefully examined the ICT Centre where digital documentation and pilgrims’ data management are handled to ensure efficiency and accuracy in the Hajj process.
The team also inspected the conference hall used for meetings, briefings, and orientation programmes for intending pilgrims before their departure.
Screening Hall and Camp Environment Assessed
In addition, the NCAA delegation visited the screening hall where medical checks, documentation verification, and other screening procedures are carried out to ensure that all intending pilgrims meet the required travel standards.
The officials also toured the general environment of the Hajj camp and expressed satisfaction with the level of cleanliness, organisation, and facilities available to support pilgrims during the preparation stage of the pilgrimage.
NCAA Commends Kebbi Government’s Commitment
According to the NCAA officials, the infrastructure and arrangements put in place by the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency demonstrate the commitment of the Kauran Gwandu-led administration to ensuring a smooth, safe, and well-organised Hajj operation.
The inspection visit forms part of routine assessments conducted by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority to ensure that states comply with aviation and operational standards required for the successful airlift of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
The Bureau News reports that such inspections are part of nationwide preparations to guarantee safe and efficient Hajj operations for Nigerian pilgrims.
