Members of the Kogi State Sixth House of Assembly have officially endorsed President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for a second term in office, citing what they described as effective and people-centered leadership at both federal and state levels.
The endorsement was announced during a gathering on Thursday, where lawmakers expressed their collective support for the two leaders. Photographs from the event circulated publicly, showing Assembly members reaffirming their backing.
According to the legislators, their decision was informed by governance reforms, development projects, and policy initiatives implemented under the current administrations. They noted that the progress recorded so far justifies continuity beyond the present tenure.
The Assembly members praised both Tinubu and Ododo for what they characterized as purposeful and impactful leadership, emphasizing the need to sustain ongoing programs aimed at improving infrastructure, economic growth, and public welfare.
The move adds to a growing wave of political endorsements for the president and the governor as preparations gradually build toward future electoral cycles.
