The Nigerian striker has not only delivered on the pitch but also off it, helping the club earn back a significant portion of their investment through performances, bonuses, and merchandise sales.

Victor Osimhen’s goals have been instrumental in keeping Galatasaray’s domestic and European ambitions alive.

The Super Eagles forward’s strike rate has helped the Yellow-Reds secure key wins that generated €18.8 million in Champions League entry bonuses, with a further €4.2 million earned from victories over Liverpool and Bodo/Glimt.

In total, his contribution in Europe has brought in an estimated €23 million to Galatasaray’s coffers, according to a report from respected Turkish news outlet, Sporx.

That figure shows just how valuable Osimhen’s influence has become, not merely as a goalscorer but as an economic force. Galatasaray’s record signing is, quite literally, repaying his fee in goals and revenue.

Victor Osimhen: A man of records

Beyond the financial windfall, Osimhen’s connection with Galatasaray fans has been electric from day one.

Since joining the club permanently, he has helped the Istanbul giants remain unbeaten in the league, steering them toward another title chase.

The club has already earned €5 million (240 million lira) from their league form alone, while Osimhen’s popularity off the pitch has created another revenue stream.

Within weeks of his arrival, 40,000 official Osimhen-branded kits and masks were sold through GS Stores, generating 8.19 million euro (400 million lira) in merchandise sales.

On the pitch, Osimhen continues to set records.

His brace in the 3–1 win over Bodo/Glimt extended his scoring streak to seven consecutive European matches, making him the first player in Galatasaray history to achieve such a feat; surpassing Burak Yılmaz’s six-match run.

He also became the club’s fastest scorer in the Champions League, netting in the third minute of the match against Bodo Glimt.

With 42 goals in 49 appearances, Osimhen has already climbed to 20th on Galatasaray’s all-time top scorers list, overtaking club legends such as Xhevat Prekazi (41) and Shabani Nonda (37). He is also now the highest-scoring Nigerian in Galatasaray’s history.

At just 26, Osimhen stands shoulder to shoulder with names like Gheorghe Hagi, Mauro Icardi, and Bafétimbi Gomis, who dominate the club’s foreign scorers chart.

His blend of charisma, relentlessness, and productivity has turned him into both a marketing dream and a footballing phenomenon, one who’s writing his own golden chapter in Galatasaray’s rich history.
