Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has opened up about his uncertain future, revealing that he currently has no club contract secured as he prepares for the next stage of his career.

Speaking in an interview with SABC Metro FM in South Africa, the Nigerian international admitted that he is without a formal agreement and is still weighing his options.

“To be honest with you, I don’t have a club or a contract in front,” Nwabali said candidly.

The shot-stopper explained that his departure comes after a mutual understanding between both parties, stressing that the decision was peaceful and focused on personal and professional growth.

“It’s an agreement that both parties will feel at peace. We wish each other well, and I can look forward in my career,” he added.

After spending four years at his current club, Nwabali described the experience as rewarding but acknowledged that change is sometimes necessary for progress.

“I’ve been at this club for four years; it’s really nice working here, but we all really need to move forward—as a player or as a manager,” he said.

The goalkeeper emphasized that personal happiness remains a key factor in his decisions.

“Football deals with happiness. My happiness comes first.”

Nwabali, who has earned praise for his performances for both club and country, is now expected to attract interest from teams looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.

With his future still undecided, fans will be watching closely to see where the Nigerian star lands next.
