Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho has expressed strong confidence ahead of tonight’s clash with Arsenal, insisting the Blues are more than capable of securing a result at the Emirates Stadium despite the venue’s reputation as one of the toughest grounds in English football.

Speaking in the official Chelsea matchday program notes, Garnacho acknowledged the challenge of facing Mikel Arteta’s side at home but pointed to recent results as proof that Arsenal are far from unbeatable on their own turf.

“Everyone knows how hard it is to play there,” Garnacho said. “When we lost the first game, I saw a lot of people saying, ‘Yeah, but no one has won yet at the Emirates.’”

However, the Argentine believes that narrative has shifted, particularly after Manchester United managed to claim victory in North London earlier this season.

“But now I think the view is a little bit different,” he added. “If, for example, Manchester United can beat them there, we can do it perfectly.”

Chelsea heads into the match determined to make a statement as they look to strengthen their position in the league standings. Garnacho’s comments reflect a growing belief within the squad that they have the quality and mentality needed to compete with—and defeat—one of their London rivals on their own ground.

Kick-off at the Emirates promises an intense encounter, with both sides eager to secure crucial points.
