Vice President Kashim Shettima declared that “Nigeria is greater than PENGASSAN,” emphasizing the need for patriotism and caution from both labor and the private sector. He also highlighted Aliko Dangote’s commitment to investing in Nigeria.

These statements were made at the opening of the Nigerian Economic Summit 2025 in Abuja. The Vice President’s remarks followed industrial action by PENGASSAN, and the Federal Government indicated that the dispute between PENGASSAN and the Dangote Petroleum Refinery had been resolved.

31st Nigerian Economic Summit
